Doctors, nurses and nutritionists for antenatal and child-health camps.

Legal aid volunteer

Janakpur 1–3 months

Law graduates to support our paralegal desks and legal literacy sessions.

Counselling support

Janakpur 1–6 months

Trained counsellors for the safe-space centre and girls’ clubs.

Design & e-commerce

Remote Flexible

Product photography, branding and online sales for women’s Mithila art enterprises.

Translation & documentation

Remote or Janakpur Flexible

Maithili–Nepali–English translation of reports, case studies and training material.

Before you apply

A few honest notes

  • Most placements are in rural wards of the Terai — expect heat, monsoon flooding and simple accommodation.
  • We do not charge volunteer fees, and we do not arrange tourist itineraries.
  • Accommodation and local transport are covered; international travel is not.
  • Every volunteer signs our Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct, and works under a female staff supervisor.
  • Placements under two weeks are rarely useful to the community, so we seldom accept them.
